Lori Tatum is currently working as an English teacher in the Mount Olive School District. Her strengths include the teaching of critical reading and writing skills to students at both the middle and high school levels.
Lori has worked extensively tutoring students on a one-on-one basis targeting the specific needs of her students so as to promote a growth in literacy skills and instill in them a love of reading and writing. Additionally, she serves as an advisor for the Poets and Writers Club at school and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in English Literature and Writing.
She is excited to work with students to improve not only their key skills in English, but also their confidence in their academic abilities for the future.
Mr. Biebers Ishak currently teaches at the Manchester Regional High School and has been teaching for 15 years. He is certified to teach English, Psychology, World Languages (Arabic), and Social Studies for Grades K- 12. He has also had experience teaching Math & Science for 10 years.
Keri Holmgren has been an integral part of the Glen Rock School Community as an Elementary School teacher for over 15 years. She has previous taught students in grades 1-3 and worked to foster critical thinking and collaborative skills in reading, writing, and math.
A mentor to both novice and veteran teachers, Keri has been the recipient of the Teacher of the Year award at her school for both the 2006 and 2018 school years. She has also served on the Intervention & Referral Services Committee to provide individualized intervention strategies for students with academic or social concerns.
Keri is motivated to think outside the box and is a passionate educator who teaches with a “students first” philosophy.
Matthew Otey has worked as a Science and Robotics teacher at the high school level in Mount Olive School District for the past 5 years. In that time, Matthew has taught all grades, 9 through 12, and has taught several courses including Physics, General Chemistry, Physics Honors, Physical Science, and Environmental Science.
Additionally, Matthew has served as the Head Director of the Mount Olive Robotics Team for the past 4 years. He has successfully led two teams of students at the highest level of Robotics Competition at both the New Jersey State level and the National level.
His goals include promoting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) education and supporting all students to ensure their success.
Ms. Lucia Dolin is a certified ESL teacher with 15 years of teaching experience. She is also certified to teach Elementary students in grades K-8 and Bilingual Portuguese to students in grades K-12. She is passionate about grammar, writing, reading, languages and cultures. Her own personal experience learning different languages has allowed her to be particularly sensitive to the needs of ESL students. She is excited to know her students’ goals and work towards accomplishing them together!
